Samantha Krause joins the birdsong lab
The lab welcomes new M.Sc. student Samantha “Sam” Krause (B.Sc., University of Northern British Colombia). Sam is an avid birder who is interested in the evolutionary interplay between female choice and male song. She plans to use radio telemetry to study how female Adelaide’s warblers assess singing males, and how males adjust their singing behavior in response to their mate’s presence.
